11/20/2019 0 Comments My Applied projectThe first semester of my senior year is coming to an end and before I know it I will be graduating. This applied project has become very important to me by helping me with my major and my soon to be career. I am an Interdisciplinary Studies major concentrating on mental health. This applied project has helped me learn so much new information. For this project I have been concentrating on stress in college students and how to reduce it. As a college student I have realized how much stress can really affect our everyday life and I wanted to help my peers. I chose this topic for this project because I wanted to find some easy, cheap ways college students can reduce their stress. As college students, we all like the words cheap and easy. Sometimes we feel like we have no free time during the day because we always have so much going on either with homework, projects and work but we need to start taking a little time out of our day to concentrate on our wellbeing. With this being said my applied project is a podcast. I decided to make a podcast that gives advice on stress and different ways to reduce it. By making this podcast it is an easy way for college students to listen and get the advice they need. Podcasts are a popular thing now days where you can be driving, doing homework, working out and still be listening to these interesting recordings.
